Product design and development. |
We help small and large organization with the electronic design needs, from prototyping to finished product. Designing a one-off project or a product for mass production can be a high cost consideration for many companies. They would need to invest in the latest test equipment, development tools, software design tools and production machinery. With short product life cycle and a competitive business environment, it makes sense to outsource your design and development efforts.
Our engineering facility is equipped for almost any analog, digital, embedded and microcontroller design work. Over the years, we have continually invested in new test equipment and software tools to support any electronic design work.
If you have your in-house engineering or production facility but would require other area of specialize technical knowledge or technology not available internally, we can be an extension of your engineering team to provide complimentary roles. |

| Product Development Cycle |
1. |
You describe the desired functionality of your circuit or product and we will provide you input of our design approach to achieve your objectives. We may also suggest tradeoffs of various functionality and arrive at an close estimate of the final per-unit cost. We will quote you for the specified design. You are under no obligation to work with us. You can use our quote for cost comparison purposes. Should you accept our quote with a purchase order, it will be the go-ahead for your design. |
2. |
Circuit diagrams will be design and the wire-wrap circuit board will be built. The microcontroller firmware (the software that is running on the controller) will be developed as well. This is the most time consuming stage of the designing cycle. Once this stage is completed, the per-unit cost for your assembled board can be accurately calculated. |
3. |
The prototype is sent to you for functional evaluation. Assuming it performs to specifications and to your satisfaction, we will progress to stage four. During this stage, if you have added requirement in features or changes in design, we are able to accommodate your request, with addition small cost to you. |
4. |
Once you have decided on the product's enclosure, the printed circuit board for your circuit will be designed and routed. As soon as the sample PCB is ready, it will be assembled with all the components and other required hardware (Switches, displays, terminals, etc). |
5. |
Safety and compliance approval may be required for your circuit or final product depending on its intended use. From our experience on EMI (electromagnetic emission) and compliance practice, the circuit design would normally incorporate such requirements. |
6. |
Our in-house production facility can manufacture in small volume your assembled circuit boards or turnkey product (complete assembly). You can also choose to assemble the board yourself or use a third party manufacturer. Your company will own all engineering design files and copyrights. |

| Why use our service? |
1. |
The right team
Designing electronic circuits and writing controller-based software is what we do everyday, our engineers are exposed to wide-ranging technologies and over time, acquired sound and practical experience. We stayed current by investing in new technologies and we read widely in all aspects relating to our fields. |
2. |
Keep to budget
Most of the design work we perform is quoted upfront, so you can compare our price with the costs of in-house development. We deploy the latest cost saving components and design methodologies, we're usually able to provide you with a lower engineering cost than an entirely in-house design team. Our design also ensures that your per-board cost will be as low as possible. |
3. |
Get what you Specify
Our systematic approach and in-process documentation provides traceable communication at all levels so you can be sure of WYWIWYG - "What you want is what you get". Once you describe your functionality, we will document all correspondences and all stages of design clearly, seek clarification wherever necessary to be sure we understand them exactly you intended. |
4. |
Tight Deadline
Our design process has been streamlined for quick integration of custom hardware and software. Over the years, we have built application libraries of various kinds. For most instances, we do not build from scratch. Development time is measure in terms of hours or days, not weeks or months. You get your prototype more quickly. |
5. |
Flexible
If you have an in-house engineer or engineering team and would like us to work with you on a project, we can come in to handle the section of design work which you assign to us. You decide on the level of our involvement. If effect, we become an extension of your team. We can bring to you our schematic design know-how, PCB layout, C and assembly firmware development or product manufacturing. |
6. |
No strings attached
While we hope to become the design resource for your organization in the years to come, all our work performed are well documented as to allow you or anyone continue to maintain or enhance the design without our involvement. All schematics, PCB files, C or assembly codes are documented in industry-standard file formats, and you will own all copyrights. |
